VENTNOR – The city will host its annual Shredding Day event 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22 at Newport Avenue and the beach.

The shredding event provides a safe way to dispose of papers that could contain sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, and old tax records. All shredded papers will be properly recycled by the shredding company. Only paper will be accepted. Remove clips and binders.

Residents are instructed to pull up to the shredding truck and items will be unloaded by the technicians and placed in the shredding hopper. There is no need for you to exit your vehicle.
