In recognition of April as National County Government Month, the quiz is available on the county website. Click the “Take Our Quiz” link in the upper left-hand corner of the county website at www.aclink.org or www.atlantic-county.org.
The nation’s 3,069 counties serve more than 330 million Americans and provide essential services to create healthy, safe and vibrant communities, according to the National Association of Counties. There are 21 counties in the State of New Jersey.
“County government has a significant range of responsibilities and provides programs and services that touch nearly every aspect of our residents’ lives,” stated Levinson.
“The Atlantic County quiz is specific to Atlantic County government and is a fun reminder of what we provide,” he added. “County government month is also an ideal time to acknowledge our talented and dedicated employees who deliver these services with a focus on quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
