CAPE MAY COURTHOUSE – On April 23, Sturdy Savings Bank hosted its second annual ‘Run Wild’ 5K Run and 1-mile walk at the Cape May County Park and Zoo.

The event once again attracted runners from all over the State of New Jersey and beyond, with more than 400 runners and walkers traversing the course that brought them around and through the zoo. Dozens of children ages 3-12 also participated in the Kids Fun Run, which took place immediately following the Race/Walk event.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cape May County Park & Zoo and Family Promise of Cape May County.

“We’re excited for the continued success of this now-annual event and to support the Zoo and Family Promise. We look forward to hosting this race for years to come, and to watch it grow in size and popularity,” bank President and CEO Greg Matuson said.
