VENTNOR – An intergeneration pilgrimage walk for seniors and their families will be held Saturday, April 29 at St. James Church of Holy Trinity Parish.

Inspired by the “Camino de Santiago,” or the Way of St. James, the day of fellowship begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in at Memorial Hall adjacent to St. James Church, 6415 Atlantic Ave.

Morning prayer begins at 9 a.m. before pilgrims set out for a 2.5-mile walk along the Ventnor boardwalk. Mass celebrated by Fr. James King, parochial administrator of the Parish of St. John Neumann in Cherry Hill, follows at 11 a.m.

The special event is planned for seniors and their families as a day of prayer, reflection, peace and fellowship. Lunch will be available, along with free parking in the church parking lot accessible from Newport Avenue.
