South Pacific Island Dancers will perform at Beachstock.The Margate Business Association has announced its lineup of events and activities for 2023. The program includes children’s activities, beach and bay festivals, holiday shopping events, fireworks, wine tastings and more.

  • May 8 – Margate Cornhole Spring Competitive Cornhole League, sponsored by Dr. Joseph Berretone, DMD
  • May 29 – Margate Mothers Association Memorial Day Parade, Ventnor Avenue
  • June 4 – Le Tour Downbeach Family Friendly Bike Ride. co-hosted by Ventnor City and Margate Business Association. Barbeque at Tomatoe’s immediately following. (Rain date June 12)
  • June 15 – Margate Community Farmer’s Market at Steve & Cookie’s By The Bay runs 8:30-11:30 a.m. every Thursday through Aug. 31.
  • June 23 – Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby on Granville Avenue beach 5-7 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. Mets vs. Phillies game viewing on beach, first pitch 7:05 p.m.
  • June 24 – Beachstock, The Planet’s Biggest Beach Party, Huntington Avenue and beach (rain date June 25)
  • July 4 – Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Margate Mothers Association.
  • July 6 – Thrilling Thursdays Free Beach Days through Aug. 31, sidewalk sales, Margate Community Farmers Market, free movies on the beach, pre-event activities begin at 6:30 p.m.  Movies begin at 7 p.m. at Huntington Avenue beach, behind the Martin Bloom Pavilion.
  • July 10 – Margate Cornhole Summer Competitive Cornhole League, sponsored by Dr. Joseph Berretone. DMD
  • July 28 – MBA 20th annual Winetasting, 6-9 p.m. at Edgmar Circle (rain date July 29)
  • Aug. 4 – Margate Memorial Lifeguard Races, 6:30 p.m. at Decatur Avenue beach.
  • Aug. 13 – Margate Duck Derby, Amherst Avenue & the Bay (rain date Aug. 20)
  • Sept. 11 – 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Margate City Fire Department Firehouse Station 1, 1 S. Washington Ave.
  • Sept. 11 – Margate Cornhole Fall Competitive Cornhole League, sponsored by Dr. Joseph Berretone, DMD
  • Sept. 19 – Fall decorating throughout the city
  • Sept. 23-24 – Margate Fall Funfest by the Bay, Amherst Avenue Marina District,  11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday
  • Sept. 23 – Funfest After Dark,  Amherst Avenue, Saturday 7:30-10 p.m.
  • Sept. 24 – Steve & Cookie’s Annual Dog Show
  • Oct. 8-14 – Fire Prevention Week
  • Nov. 24 – Margate Holiday Lighting Celebration, Sigmund Rimm Recreation Complex, Jerome Avenue, 4:30-7 p.m., music, food trucks, beverages, activities and holiday lighting
  • Nov. 25 – Shop Small Weekend and ASL Santa Comes to Town. Activities at Bocca Coal Fired Bistro.
