The Borough of Longport has been given the go-ahead to hold a communitywide yardsale event in early June.
The Longport Community Yard Sale will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at locations around the borough. Residents are encouraged to get rid of unwanted household items in a sustainable way by selling item as greatly reduced prices for the benefit of those who want them.
All unsold items must be removed from front yards by 3 p.m. on the day of the event. Any items being put in the trash on the next regular pickup day, may not be placed on the curb before noon on June 4. Residents are reminded that only two bulky items are permitted for collection.
Ventnor City will hold its Community Yard Sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11. Residents have until June 1 to get their location put on a yardsale map.
