MARGATE – Newly installed Mayor Michael Collins is seeking candidates to serve on the Margate City Board of Education.The resignation of school board President Cathy Horn, who was also recently sworn-in as a city commissioner has created a vacancy on the school board.
The Margate school district is a Type 1 district with board members appointed by the mayor. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, able to read and write and have no claims against the district.
