ATLANTIC CITY – Jazz at the Beach concert series returns to Kennedy Plaza for its 23rd year Thursdays through summer, except for Aug. 10.
The free concerts will be presented starting at 7 p.m. Thursday evenings and are sponsored by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, Comcast, AC Community Fund, Claridge Hotel, ThriveAC and the City of Atlantic City. Local jazz artists will perform between 7-8 p.m. and headliners will perform 8:30-10 p.m.
The lineup is:
- June 29 – Lao Tizer Quartet, with Ella Gahnt & EG Trio
- July 6 – Christian Sands, with Keith Hollis Quartet
- July 13 – Take 6, with Tony Day Quartet
- July 20 – Eddie Palmeri, with Cintron Quartet
- July 27 – Connie Han Trio, with Eddie Morgan Quartet
- Aug. 3 – Victor Gould Quartet, with Vertical Current
- Aug. 10 – Dark
- Aug. 17 – Amina Figarova Sextet, with a Tribute to Charles Fambrough, Joe Fored, Arron Craces
- Aug. 24 – Cyrus Chestnut Quartet, with Dwain Davis Quartet
- Aug. 31 – Etienne Charles Quartet, with Yocontalie Quartet
- Sept. 7 – Regina Carter Quartet, with Mary Cross Quartet
