MARGATE – More than 600 attendees enjoyed an afternoon strolling through seven breathtaking homes in Margate and Ventnor during the 34th annual Jewish Family Service House Tour. The event, sponsored by Surroundings Interiors, raised $90,000 to benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore program, which provides essential transportation, care coordination, meal delivery and socialization for adults aged 50 and older.

“As one of the agency’s most popular fundraisers, JFS is grateful for the hundreds of attendees as well as the businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and staff who made this event so successful,” JFS CEO  Andrea Steinberg said in a release. “Attendees enjoyed an exclusive look inside Downbeach homes, which featured state-of-the-art kitchens, ornate fixtures and hardware, beautiful décor, breathtaking views and more. We are thankful to the homeowners who graciously opened the doors to their residences.”

The House Tour committee included Barbara Cohen, Jodi Finkelson-Reece, Kim Forte, Beth Fox, Rene Kane, Martha Karasick, Audrey Panitch Levin, Hope Morgan, Alfi Naim, Hanna Newcomer, Linda Novelli, Eileen Perice, Sarah Rosenthal, David Schwartz, Taylor Shives, Beth Shor, Pam Sinderbrand and Lesley Weinberg ensured guests and homeowners alike had a memorable experience. In addition, more than 120 volunteers dedicated their day to help make the fundraising event a success.

Nearly 115 people took the VIP tour to the next level with door-to-door transportation, priority entry into the homes and gift bags sponsored by local businesses.

Lucky ticketholders won fabulous prizes and bid on more than 60 items, such as dining certificates, sporting tickets, distinctive health & wellness products, and designer handbags.

The House Tour committee is already searching for homes for next year’s tour, scheduled to take place Aug. 5, 2024.
