MudGirls Studios in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY – MudGirls Studios, a nonprofit organization that empowers disadvantaged women through training and employment, will be hosting its second annual fundraising celebration Friday, Sept. 22 at an indoor/outdoor space at Kesselman Hall on Stockton University’s Atlantic City campus.

The event celebrates the studio’s “New Beginnings” as it continues to transform women’s lives through ceramic art made right in Atlantic City.

The event includes a cocktail reception where guests can meet and mingle with the artists and purchase one of their unique creations. Singer/songwriter Gina Roche will perform her unique blend of jazz, blues and original compositions, along with contemporary jazz artist Lili Anel. Bountiful refreshments will be served. Parking is available at the Academic Center parking lot on Atlantic Avenue across from Kesselman Hall or in the South Jersey Gas parking lot at Hartford and Pacific avenues.

All proceeds will support the expansion of the MudGirls studio space and workforce, studio operations and the purchase of clayworks materials. It will fulfill the organization’s effort to serve more at-risk women and engage the community in public events and classes.

The event is being sponsored by ACDevCo, Stockton University, Casiello Philanthropic Foundation, Resorts Hotel and Casino, and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Tickets are $100 and can be purchased through Eventbrite at bit.ly/43D5nJa
