MARGATE – The 9th annual Jewish Family Service Card Party held at Harbor Pines Golf Club Aug. 24 raised $18,000 for The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore. With morning and afternoon sessions, 130 attendees gathered to enjoy games of canasta and mahjong, and dined on hors d’oeuvres and a delicious buffet lunch.
The funds raised through the generous support of sponsors will help provide a variety of concierge, volunteer and professional services, and socialization opportunities for adults over age 50.
The event also featured an auction of more than 20 fabulous donated prizes, including overnight stays and dining at two Atlantic City casinos, gift cards, gift certificates for local businesses and merchandise.
