VENTNOR – The Margate Knights of Columbia 7316 will be hosting a Tribute to the Geater, Jerry Blavat, 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at St. James Memorial Hall on S. Newport Avenue.
Blavat, who entertained “yon teenagers” for more than 60 years, including at his nightclub Memories in Margate, died in January at age 82.
The event, which includes a buffet and refreshments, is being hosted by Fox 29’s Bob Kelly.
Tickets are $40 and include a Geator keepsake, guest DJ, silent auction and door prizes.
