The Ventnor Business Association is holding an art contest for the design to be included on T-shirts and sweatshirts sold at the 2024 Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day.
Children in grades K-8 (public, private or home schooled) who are Ventnor City residents are eligible to submit their design ideas using no more than four colors, with white being one of the colors. Digital art will accepted but it must be printed and either dropped off or mailed in, no e-submissions.
Deadline to submit artwork is Friday, Oct. 20.
Designs will be judged by a committee comprised of members of the Home and School Association, Ventnor Business Association, Polar Bear Plunge Committee and business owners. The winner will receive a $25 Wawa gift card and a free T-shirt with their design on the front.
Submissions must include child’s name, age and grade written on the back of the artwork. Mail submissions to VBA Polar Plunge, c/o MaktArts, 5112 Ventnor Ave., Ventnor, NJ 08406 or drop off at Makt Arts.
