Longport beach tags 2023

LONGPORT – It’s that time of year again. Time for Longport’s budding artists to pull out their pencil cases and make some artwork for the borough’s annual Beach Tag Design Contest.

The contest is open to Longport children ages 5-10 years old. Two winners will have their designs printed on regular and senior citizen tags for the 2024 season.

Dylan Clark Newman and Maddie Clark are winners of this year’s Longport Beach Tag contest.

This year’s winners were Maddie Clark, the second of three sisters – they’re triplets who are hard to tell apart – who had her artwork on the seasonal tag, and Dylan Clark Newman, who designed the senior tag.

Limit artwork to two or three bright colors. The word Longport must be included in the design. The artwork must be submitted on a template along with the contest entry form provided on the borough website, www.longportnj.gov.

Deadline for submissions is Dec. 29. Winners will be announced in spring 2024.
