PROVIDED/Stockton University’s women’s rowing varsity eight won gold at the Dad Vail Regatta in 2023.

ATLANTIC CITY — Enjoy an evening of comedy while supporting Stockton University’s men’s and women’s rowing teams at the inaugural “Just Row With It!” comedy night being held 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Noyes Arts Garage, 2200 Fairmount Ave.

The event features comedian Michelle Tomko, surprise guests, raffles, drinks and appetizers. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased at stockton.edu/rowingevent.

Tomko, who is known as Tomkomedy on social media, is a stand-up comedian who received the Atlantic City Weekly Nightlife Award for “Best Comedian” five years in a row. She pulls her humor from everyday observations and classic stories of family, travel, pets and adversity.

Event proceeds will fund team warm-ups and travel gear, meals for road contests, offset training trip costs and help purchase additional oars and erg machines for the teams. Several rowing sponsorship opportunities are also available ranging from $500 to $5,000.

Stockton Women’s Rowing Team wins gold at the Dad Vale regatta.

The teams are coming off very successful 2023 spring seasons with the women’s varsity eight winning gold at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Championships and the Dad Vail Regatta. The women also won the overall points trophy at the Battle at Brigantine. The men’s team, which is a club sport, won the Stan Bergman point trophy and the overall points trophy at the Battle at Brigantine.
