VENTNOR – As 350,000 Israel Defense Forces soldiers continue to fight on the front lines in Israel, Shirat Hayam has mounted a campaign to support them.

The synagogue is collecting personal care items to support the IDF through Dec. 9.

A donation box is set up in the lobby of the synagogue, which is located at 700 N. Swarthmore Ave. A member of the congregation will deliver the items to Israel on Dec. 10. The items will be distributed to defense bases in Israel.

  • Energy boost/electrolyte packs to put into water bottles

  • String cords (for tying equipment)
  • Turnakits
  • Camelback water jugs
  • Black sharpie markers
  • White out pens
  • Leatherman knives
