EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The spirit of the season will be shared this weekend at Reed’s Farm and Animal Sancturary, 5075 Spruce Ave.

The regenerative farm that uses organic practices will celebrate the holidasy 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 9-10 with local vendors, holiday treats, and baby animals from Misty Meadows Sheep Dairy Farm.

Vendors include many of the vendors who participate in summertime farmers markets, including Sue Van Duyne Pottery, Atlantic Leather Works, South Jersey Smokehouse, Mermaid Metals Jewelry and many more.

The farm is part of local restaurateur Cookie Till’s non-profit organization, A Meaningful Purpose. It includes a kitchen and market that showcases components of the farm. It has become a community hub that provides healthy foods and workforce development for underserved individuals.
