Arianna Jones, RN

SOMERS POINT – Shore Medical Center has announced that Labor and Delivery Nurse Arianna Jones, RN, of Cape May Court House, has been named its January Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional patient care.

Shore established the Guardian Angel program to enable community members to say “thank you” to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center in their honor.

Jones came to Shore in 2019 as a nurse on the 5 Hayes Unit, and transferred to maternity in June 2023. Maternity Unit Nurse Manager Nicole DeCicco said Jones is a great asset to the department.

“Arianna is a hardworking dedicated nurse,” DeCicco said in a release. “She provides all her patients with kindness and a smile.”

The family member of a maternity patient recently made a Guardian Angel donation to the medical center in Jones’ honor.

“Our angel Arianna was the most caring and loving nurse my daughter could have had when delivering her baby,” the donor said. “Arianna gave her and my new grandson the best care, she’s truly a gift and such an asset to your hospital.”

Shore Medical Center’s Guardian Angel program provides an opportunity for patients and families to recognize anyone at Shore who makes a difference in their care or experience. Guardian Angels are recognized among their peers and presented with a Guardian Angel pin at their annual pinning ceremony.

To honor a Shore Medical Center Guardian Angel, call Shore’s Planned Giving and Development Department at 609-653-3800 or visit www.GivetoShore.org.
