ATLANTIC CITY – Steve Troiano of Maynard’s Cafe in Margate has been selcted as the local Grand Marshal of the 36th annual Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade being presented on the World Famous Atlantic City Boardwalk 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9.

He will join second Grand Marshal, actor Kelsey Grammer of “Frasier” fame, whose Faith American Brewing Company has a big following in the greater Atlantic City area.

Lineup is at Rhode Island Avenue starting at 11 a.m. with floats and vehicles in line at noon. The parade steps off appoximately 1 p.m.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. The parade celebrates Irish cultural heritage and gathers a diverse groups of ethnicities, religions, and ages for a peaceful and fun day of celebration and includes school bands, string bands, Irish dancers, floats and more.
