MAYS LANDING — The Atlantic Cape Community College Campus Closet received a generous offering of gently worn men’s and women’s professional business attire from representatives of the South Jersey Democratic Women’s Forum Atlantic-Cape Chapter Thursday, Feb. 29.

“We wanted to help out the students of Atlantic Cape so they will be able to go out in the world and be ready to work,” SJDWF President Maureen Leidy said. “We do a lot of donations throughout the year, including for the summer female migrant workers, the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and a toy drive at Christmas.”

The Campus Closet provides lightly-worn professional clothes from men’s business suits, shirts, pants, ties and shoes to women’s dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, shoes and accessories for students currently enrolled at Atlantic Cape who may need of casual business attire for professional interviews, class presentations, events and various college-related activities.

The Campus Closet is located on the Mays Landing campus in room G-223 on the second floor of the Student Center (G Building) and a dressing room is available in room G-217. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
