MAYS LANDING – This summer, give your children the gift of a unique, hands-on experience where they can learn new skills, make new friends and explore new horizons. Registration is now open for Kids College and Summer Academy at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Mays Landing, Atlantic City and Cape May campuses.

  • Children ages 7-9 can learn to create arts and crafts, cartooning, make their first video game, become a YouTube content creator, create a 3D video game, learn all about virtual reality and much more.
  • Children 10-12 can dive into the exciting world of Dungeons & Dragons, explore Anime, create their own comic books, create music digitally, learn pasta and pizza recipes, and much more.
  • Meanwhile, teens 13-16 can compete in the Chopped Challenge, which will encompass three days of recipe learning and culminates in a cookoff competition on the last day. Teens may also learn Babysitting 101, and learn all about cakes and cake decorating from Academy of Culinary Arts pastry chefs.

These weeklong classes for children (ages 7-12) and teens (ages 13-16) begin the week of July 10. Classes run Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a full-day session and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. for a half-day session. Half-day programs start at $165 and full-day programs start at $325.
