ATLANTIC CITY – The third annual Community Day Clean Up and Party in the Park is seeking volunteers to help beautify the Atlantic City’s streets and beaches Saturday, April 27.

This year’s event will feature cleanup locations in all six of the city’s wards from the Northeast Inlet to Lower Chelsea. There will also be a specific clean up in the Orange Loop section of Atlantic City between Ocean and New York avenues.

Volunteers will check in at 8:30 a.m. for their cleanup site, which will continue until noon. Trash-pickers and bags will be provided on site, and volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves. Boots and sneakers are preferred. No open-toed shoes. Each volunteer will receive a food truck meal voucher that can be redeemed at the Party in the Park at O’Donnell Park near Stockton’s Atlantic City campus.

The Party in the Park begins 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. and will feature a DJ and live band, crafters, a petting zoo, juggling, face painting and outdoor games.

To sign up for the cleanup, or if you wish to be a vendor at the party, go to stockton.edu/ac. Online registration will end midnight Saturday, April 20, but walk-registration to volunteer will be available the day of the event. If you are registering a group, please email stephanie.clineman@stockton.edu.

For more information, call 609-626-3846. The rain date for the event is Sunday, April 28.
