The Night of 300,000 Meals will be held May
2 at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch in Egg Harbor Township.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch will hold its annual “Night of 300,000 Meals” 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at the FoodBank, 6735 Black Horse Pike.

The event will raise funds to provide 300,000 meals to the more than 55,000 South Jersey residents who are food insecure, provide nutrition education, distribute diapers and feminine hygiene products to those who need them, and to stock college pantries.

The evening includes fine fare, spirits, and live music. Area chefs will provide tastings of their signature dishes and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will offer a specialty cocktail. Live music will be provided by the Eddie Morgan Duo.

Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the warehouse, which holds 1.6 million pounds of food, and the pantry where 2,000 local families visit monthly.

Parking is available at Harbor Square Mall near Boscov’s. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
