ACUA offers valet trash collection services in Downbeach towns

ACUA offers Valet Trash Services in Downbeach towns and Brigantine.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The 2024 application for valet trash and recycling collection services offered by the Atlantic County Utilities Authority is now open.

By subscribing to valet collection service, ACUA’s collections staff will retrieve containers from your residence, empty them and return them to the residence. Participating residents will not need to bring containers to the curb.

Brigantine, Ventnor, Margate and Longport residents who currently have curbside collection are eligible for valet collection service.

Service periods and fees are:

  • April 15 – Sept. 6 – $558
  • May 27 – Sept. 6 – $444
  • Extended service through – Sept. 27 – $57 additional

All trash must be placed in the 96-gallon trash cart. ACUA will collect up to two 96-gallon wheeled trash carts at each property during your scheduled week, and two recycling carts on recycle week.

Additional 96-gallon trash or recycling carts are available for purchase for $80. Residents may continue to use the 96-gallon carts during the year, even when Valet Season ends.

Valet service does not include yard waste collection, metals or bulky collection. Please follow your town’s regular schedule for this service. Condominiums, apartments and commercial establishments are not eligible for valet service.
