ATLANTIC CITY – The 2024 summer season at the shore is rapidly approaching, and as the temperatures warm up will the business forecast for area businesses also get hotter?
A panel of experts will share their predictions and take a look back at 2023 at the 16th annual Jersey Shorecast 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 8 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room at the Stockton University Atlantic City campus, 3711 Atlantic Ave. The event will also be livestreamed by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism at the Stockton University School of Business, the sponsor of the event.
The panel will be moderated by Bre Young, a 2020 Stockton graduate and the event coordinator and project manager for Good Time Tricycle Productions. Good Time Tricycle has put together several events in the Atlantic City area, including the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival.
The other panelists include:
- Mark Callazzo, managing partner, RMS Capital. Callazzo is the man behind the revitalization of the Orange Loop in Atlantic City and is co-owner of the Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall, Cuzzie’s Pizzeria, Rhythm & Spirits and Bar 32 Chocolate.
- Oliver Cooke, associate professor of Economics at Stockton and editor of the South Jersey Economic Review.
- Daniel Gallagher, director of sports sales for the Atlantic City Sports Commission.
- Gary Musich, vice president of sales and destination services for Visit Atlantic City.
There will be a Q&A session after the panel and questions may also be submitted in advance to LIGHT@stockton.edu with “Shorecast Question” in the subject line.
