Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson

ATLANTIC CITY – Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson was recently inducted into the inaugural New Jersey Association of Counties County Executive Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding leadership, tireless dedication and commitment to public service.

The award was presented at the annual NJAC Conference held May 1-3 in Atlantic City.

Levinson said he was extremely grateful and humbled by the honor.

“I thoroughly enjoy the job I do and the opportunity to represent the residents of Atlantic County and initiate projects and implement improvements to enhance their quality of life,” Levinson said. “I’m especially proud when I see generations of families that choose to remain in Atlantic County, including my own three children and their families. I have to believe, we’re doing something right.”

Atlantic County also received recognition in the NJAC Cook-Off Challenge competition among county vocational-technical schools from throughout the state. The Atlantic County Institute of Technology won gold in the People’s Choice category with its presentation of a French onion braised short rib.

“Congratulations to the ACIT culinary students for their award-winning performance,” Levinson said. “ACIT continues to demonstrate it’s one of the best schools in New Jersey and is leading students to achieve success. We are extremely proud of our county high school.”
