MARGATE – Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevents the public from accessing the schools, the Margate Education Foundation plans to hold its annual Spaghetti Dinner with a twist.

Former Superintendent Dr. Dominick Potena will be cooking up a storm, making his famous meatballs and gravy. Or is it sauce?

Instead of gathering in the cafeteria for a sit-down buffet dinner, participants can pick up their Individual or Family Style Meal Package at Door 29 at the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19.

Cost for individual dinners is $10 per dinner or $40 for a family styled meal that serves six people.

Dinners include salad, bread, pasta, meatballs and “sauce.”

The foundation is also holding a “Wine Pull.” Tickets are $10 each. Winnings can be picked up when you pick up your meal.

You have until Friday, Nov. 13 to put in your order. You can also request a time for pickup.

Checks can be made payable to the MEF, or use Venmo.
