Children at Playgroups Plus in Margate celebrate Read Across America Day, March 2, 2022.
MARGATE – Children at Playgroups Plus Preschool in Margate will be celebrating Read Across America Day all week long.
Wednesday, March 2 is Dr. Seuss Theodor Seuss Geisel’s birthday, which is celebrated in schools across the nation. Adults in the community often return to the schools to read to children, encouraging them to develop a love of reading.
The children read “Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham,” and made red and white Dr. Seuss hats and crafts.
