JFS, JCC golf tourney raises more than $350,000 for community programs

MARGATE - The 12th Annual NFI & Brown Family Golf Tournament FORE Charity raised more than $350,000 to benefit Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties and the Marjorie & Lewis Katz Jewish Community Center. Held at the Atlantic City Country Club May 12, the event brought together more than 260 golfers for morning and afternoon rounds of spirited play. At the end of the day, Team JFS proudly claimed the coveted tournament trophy.

“This event continues to grow each year, and our family is honored to support these two vital agencies in Atlantic County,” NFI Vice chairman Jeff Brown said. “Our parents, Shirlee and Bernie Brown, instilled in us the value of giving back, and we are proud to carry on that legacy by supporting JFS and the Katz JCC.”

“Each year, the committee, staff, and volunteers do tremendous work to ensure the Golf Tournament is successful. The funds raised will continue to support essential programs and services provided by JFS and the Katz JCC,” JFS CEO Andrea Steinberg said. 

    JFS/Joe Fassacia, Michael Hahn, Jeff Brown and Brett Lurie played in the NFI & Brown Family Golf Tournament hosted at the Atlantic City Country Club on May 12th.
