Downbeach towns ramp up Holiday Beach Tag sales

Ventnor and Longport are selling special holiday designed beach badges that make great stocking stuffers. The limited-edition tags are good for the entire 2019 beach season in the towns where they are purchased.
Longport’s holiday tags feature a blue and white snowflake on the senior tag and a happy penguin on the regular tags.
The regular seasonal tag costs $17 and the senior tag for use by those 65 or older is $7. The tags are being sold at the City Clerk’s Office at Longport Borough Hall, 2305 Atlantic Ave., during regular business hours, while supplies last.
Ventnor’s limited-edition tag features Santa sitting in a lifeguard stand on the beach with a beach ball, flotation device and Christmas tree nearby. They are goodfor Ventnor and Margate beaches and can be purchased 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave., or on the Viply app via smart phone. Price for the holiday tag is $12 and includes gift box and ribbon.
Margate also sells seasonal beach tags without a holiday design or gift box. Regular tags are $7 and senior tags are $3.50 and can be purchased at the Margate Municipal Building, 9001 Winchester Ave.
