PLEASANTVILLE – Residents can learn how to get their record expunged at a special seminar being held 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Pleasantville, 352. S. New Road. Seminars will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The seminar is being presented by Atlantic and Cape May Superior Court and South Jersey Legal Services. The session will offer information about the expungement process, including the types of records that can be expunged, what to expect if you are representing yourself, and a guide on how to file for expungement and what happens at a hearing.

Those who attend will be eligible to file a petition with the court during the event, however, you must pre-register to determine eligibility and register when the eligibility certificate is issued.
