Find out what’s being served up at Ventnor’s Chefs Night Out on May 19.

VENTNOR – Tickets are selling like hotcakes for the 8th annual Ventnor Chefs Night Out event being held 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at more than 15 eateries around town.

Tickets for the restaurant dine-around have proven to be a hot commodity in Ventnor, as only a limited number of tickets will be sold, according to Ventnor Beautification Committee Chairwoman Shelley D’Orazio.

“You can sample the offerings from some of Ventnor’s favorite restaurants, ice cream parlors and bakeries,” she said. “But get your tickets as soon as possible because it will definitely be a sell-out.”

Dine around participants enjoy restaurant tastings during the 2018 celebration.

The Ventnor Beautification Committee will use the proceeds of the event for community beautification projects. Last year, funds raised were used to build and install new trash enclosures on the beach. Other projects funded through the Chefs Night Out include the purchase and installation of banners, American flags and trash containers on the boardwalk and in commercial areas.

Participants can walk or ride their bikes to the restaurants and enjoy small bites and tastings of scrumptious food and sweets. Restaurants will host a local artisan displaying their creations or provide live music at several locations.

Participating restaurants include Cardinal Bistro, Isabella’s, LaPadella, Red Room, Sapore Wood Fire Pizza, Stella, Tutto Fresco, Uncle Gino’s, Yama, Zorro’s Pizza, Dunkin’, Peace Pie, Sundaze Ice Cream and Ventnor No. 7311. Other restaurants may come on board.
