NOBLE presents Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner with the Prosecutor of the Year award.

MAYS LANDING – Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner was named “Prosecutor of the Year” at the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives Region One Education and Training Conference held Tuesday, April 30 at Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.

“I am honored and humbled to be named ‘Prosecutor of the Year’ by the Northern Region of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (N.O.B.L.E.),” Tyner said in a statement.

NOBLE is comprised of the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts chapters, which includes some of the finest law enforcement professionals in this country, Tyner said.

The Northeast Regional Conference provides training for law enforcement executives and serves as a unique forum for the discussion of current law enforcement concerns. The conference theme was “Policing in a New Era”, which addressed the contemporary issues that impact law enforcement organizations and the communities they serve.

“I am dedicated to carrying out its mission: ‘Justice in Action.’  As always, I accepted this award on behalf of the women and men of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, whose hard work and dedication are the product of the justice that we seek to deliver for our community,” said Tyner, who also served as the keynote speaker during the regional education and training conference.
