Longport Public Library
Longport Public Library is offering curbside pickup starting on Friday, June 19.
There is an eight item limit, including up to three DVDs.
Patrons must wear a mask for in-person meetings with staff for curbside pickup.
Patrons can request materials through the library’s online catalog or by calling the library at 609-487-7403. Wait until you receive a call from staff stating your materials are ready for pickup. Go to the Library Curbside Pickup area on Atlantic Avenue and have your library card and identification ready. Call the library to let staff know you have arrived. Materials will be brought to your vehicle or handed to you if you are walking or riding your bicycle.
Pickup hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week. The schedule for curbside pickup next week will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. Sundays will be added soon.
The library is offering storytime and crafts programs for children and the summer reading program online. Trivia Night and Family-friendly Bingo is also being offered online through GoToMeeting.
