VENTNOR – Eighth grade students at the Ventnor Middle School will likely remember their 2020 graduation ceremony as being as unique as the students themselves.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was held 10 a.m. Monday, July 6 in the playground area behind the school. Parents waited in their vehicles as students in teachers Deborah Duff, Annette Peitzman and Margaret Master’s classes stepped up to receive diplomas for successfully completing the eighth grade course of study. They are now headed to area high schools to continue their secondary education.
