Ventnor Spring Block Party May 2019.
Ventnor City has announced a lineup of spring and summer events that offer safe, outdoor family fun, and community spirit involving local businesses, musicians, crafters and food vendors.
Here’s the lineup for Spring Summer 2021:
The Ventnor City Shred Event: Need help with your spring cleaning? Ventnor residents can bring any paper items that need to be shredded. Pull up to the shred truck and your items will be unloaded for you. The event will be held 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 24 at Newport Avenue and the Beach.
The Ventnor City Block Party: The annual event will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday May 8 (Mother’s Day weekend) on Ventnor Avenue between Troy and Portland avenues, and features crafters, food trucks, a beer garden, live music and games.
The Ventnor City Farmers’ Market: Held every 8:30 a.m. to noon, every Friday from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend in the parking lot of St. James Church, Newport and Atlantic avenues. The marker offers Jersey Fresh produce, specialty food items and handcrafts.
The Ventnor City Summer Beach Jam: The Summer Beach Jam is held 5-9 p.m. every Saturday, on Newport Avenue beachfront park behind the Ventnor Library and Cultural Center. Live music begins at 6 p.m., with food and crafters ready to serve you at 5 p.m.
The Ventnor City Sunset Cinema/Concert: Held the last Wednesday of each summer month at Ski Beach in Ventnor Heights, featuring a movie from 5-7 p.m., and live music 7-9 p.m.
Le Tour de Downbeach: Join a family bike ride and enjoy the beauty Absecon Island, 9 a.m. Sunday, June 6, starting behind the Ventnor Library,
