Attorney Kasi Gifford of Ventnor.

ATLANTIC CITY – A Ventnor woman is among the Cooper Levenson attorneys who were named to the 2021 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists published by a division of Thomson Reuters.

Partners Randolph C. Lafferty, Russell L. Lichtenstein, Jill T. Ojserkis and John A. Talvacchia were named to the Super Lawyers list, a designation awarded to just 5% of New Jersey attorneys.

Kasi Marie Gifford, of Ventnor, joined other attorneys in the firm to be named to the publication’s Rising Stars.

Other recognized attorneys include Brittany A. Bonetti, Rebecca C. Lafferty, Yolanda N. Melville, Alexandra K. Rigden, Michael L. Salad, and Jarad K. Stiles. The designation is awarded to less than 2.5% of New Jersey attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Gifford, an associate in the firm, is a member of the Education Law Practice Group. She works with numerous New Jersey school clients and guides school board members and school officials through the many aspects of education law that affect school boards and officials on a daily basis. Gifford serves as an executive board member and chairperson of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Atlantic County Bar Association

“These attorneys consistently hold themselves to the highest professional standards,” Cooper Levenson COO Kenneth J. Calemmo Jr. said. “We applaud the hard work and skill that helped earn them this designation.”
