Old Coots & Co. give free advice at the Ventnor City Farmers Market.

VENTNOR – This is what Downbeach has been waiting for…after a one-year hiatus, the “old coots” will be back at the Ventnor City Farmers Market starting June 25.

According to a release from farmer’s market managers, the “Old Coots & Company Giving Advice: it may not be the best advice, but it’s free!” group will be set up under a tent at the Friday morning farmers market.

  • Need some free advice about everyday issues (who doesn’t)?
  • Having trouble with relationships, finances, or pesky neighbors?
  • Need suggestions about improving your technology skills, beach wardrobe, or canasta strategies?

Bring your morning drink or nosh and your burning questions, pull up a chair and hear from the “experts” who have been there, done that.

The booth will be manned and womaned 9-11:30 a.m. on market days throughout the summer.

If you’d like to be a Coot and think you age-qualify, email ventnorcityfarmersmarket@gmail.com.

The Ventnor City Farmers’ Market is open every Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon through Labor Day weekend at the corner of Atlantic and Newport avenues, across from the Ventnor Library.
