MARGATE – The city will close several beaches this week due to staffing shortages. Beachgoers are strongly advised to swim only at guarded beaches.
The following beaches will be closed this week:
Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 30-31 – Gladstone, Union and Benson avenues
Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 1-2 – Gladstone, Union Benson and Madison avenues
Friday, Sept. 3 – Union and Benson avenues
All beaches will reopen fully staffed and guarded for Labor Day Weekend Saturday- Monday, Sept. 4-6.
