Longport’s 2020 beach tags were designed Emma Franzosa, who designed the seasonal tag and Michael DiGiovanni who designed the senior tag.

LONGPORT – Budding artists should sharpen their colored pencils for the 2022 Beach Tag Design Contest.

The art contest to select the designs for the 2022 regular season and senior citizens beach tags is open to Longport children ages 5-10 years old.

The deadline for submissions, depicting what children feel is the best thing about living and vacationing in Longport, is Jan. 21.

Last year’s winners were Grace Voight and Jakob Brotsker.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the LongportNJ.gov website.

The designs should fit into a 4- by 4-inch square included in the entry form packet. Use no more than two or three bright colors and include the word Longport in the design.

Submit entries, including the form provided, to Beach Badge Design Contest, 2305 Atlantic Ave., Longport, NJ 08403 or email to clerk@longport-nj.us.

The winners will be recognized at a Longport Board of Commissioners meeting.
