Longport Commissioner of Public Safety Dan Lawler swears in 2022 officers of the Longport Volunteer Fire Department, Jan. 31, 2022.

The Longport Volunteer Fire Department swore in new officers Monday, Jan. 31 at the firehouse. Longport Commissioner of Public Safety Dan Lawler administered the oath of office for 2022 officers of the all-volunteer public safety organization that provides the community with fire protection and emergency medical services.

The officers, pictured above, from left, are Capt. Chris Ricciotti, Lt. Jim Leeds, Lt. Kevin Brady, Lt. Dan Vespertino and Chief’s Aid/Sgt. At Arms Jim Fehrenbach. Also not pictured are Capt. Richard Hirsch, Capt. Pat Armstrong, Capt. Anthony Vicchiarelli III, Lt. Tom Kresz.

Tom Vicchiarelli Jr. will serve as president, Kresz as vice-president and Winnie Adams will serve as treasurer.
