Stockton/Stockton Women’s Rowing

ATLANTIC CITY – Stockton University Rowing, which is known as “The Osprey Navy,” will be holding 2,000 meter boat races Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3 on the back bay at Brigantine.

The event will be held at the Brigantine Rowing Club Boathouse, 5th and Bayshore avenues.
The course, which starts at the Lighthouse, will be open for course practice at noon on Saturday. A meeting for coxswains and coaches will be held at 4 p.m. with the first round of rowing at 5 p.m. Round 2 will be held 8 a.m. Sunday, followed by Round 3 at 10:30 a.m. An awards ceremony will be held 30 minutes after the final race.
Scores for all three races be combined for the grand champion awards: The Coach Stan Bergman award for women and the Coach Bob Garbutt award for men. Other awards include the Doc Holland Cup and Varsity Eights.
Competing Universities include Stockton University; Bryn Mawr College, Pa.; Catholic University, Washington, D.C.; U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; Franklin and Marshall University, Pa.; and Villanova University Men’s Club, Pa.
