EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch will be holding its annual Night of 300,000 Meals fundraising event 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at the food bank 6735 E. Black Horse Pike.

The event will be held outdoors under a tent with fine foods provided by local chefs, restaurants and food suppliers, including B.F. Mazzeo, Bracca’s Cafe, Corr Food Service, Deauville Inn, Dock’s Oyster House, Doc’s Place, Essl’s Dugout, Gary’s Restaurant, George’s Place, Gregory’s, Hank’s Sauce, Joe’s Maplewood, Kelsey’s, Little Italy, Manoli’s Cannoli, PJ Buckets, Professional Chef’s Association of SJ, Spadafora’s Seafood, The Fractured Prune and Tropicana Hotel and Casino with more being added every day. Spirits offered include a Tito’s vodka bar and a specialty cocktail.

The food bank hopes to raise funding necessary to provide 300,000 meals to the 60,000 South Jersey residents who are food insecure, and to support other vital programs including nutrition education, diaper and feminine hygiene product distribution, resource access outreach and the College Pantry program.

Parking available at Harbor Square Mall in the lot adjacent to Golden Corral.  Shuttle service will be provided to and from the food bank location.
