The ESASJ Surfing Contest will be held at Margate Pier on May 7.
MARGATE – The Eastern Surfing Association South Jersey District has postponed its South Jersey District Surfing Contest originally scheduled for April 30. The new date is May 7. It will be held at the Margate Pier on Exeter Avenue. It is the first contest of the 2022 surfing season.
The first heat starts at 8 a.m. Events include shortboard age divisions, open shortboard, along with longboard divisions and body boards.
Entry fee is $10 per division for ESA members. Signups are being accepted until 10 p.m. Thursday, May 5. Surfers can sign up for ESA membership or renew at liveheats.com.ESASNJ. Live updates will be broadcast on Instagram @ESASNJ.
