MARGATE – As the summer season gets in full swing, the Margate City Community Farmers Market will open 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16 in the parking lot at Steve & Cookies By The Bay on Amherst Avenue at Monroe Avenue.

The market inlcudes more than 30 vendors offering Jersey Fresh produce, seafood, cheeses, pasta and meats, along with flowers, plants, pet food and hand-crafted food items.

The market, which is a popular attraction for South Jersey residents and visitors, will be open 8:30-11:30 a.m., every Thursday morning through Sept. 1.

Each week features an area non-profit working to do good for their communities, including the FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch.
