Provided/Eighth graders at the VECC enjoyed a fun fall day on the beach with the Ventnor firefighters.
VENTNOR – Members of the Ventnor Middle School Class of 2023 who achieved good grades and maintained good behavior so far this year were rewarded with a marshmallow roast. The gathering was held Oct. 29 on the beach at Newport Avenue.
Students who were eligible went to the beach and roasted marshmallows for s’mores, played games and enjoyed other treats.
The Wawa store in Margate donated hot chocolate for the students to enjoy.
Special thanks to the Ventnor Firefighter’s Mutual Benevolent Association Local 38, which sponsored the event and kept the student safe.
