GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Teens from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies and their senior buddies at Seashore Gardens Living Center were recently challenged to write their life stories in exactly six words. At the February gathering for “Better Together,” the group was presented with the prompt, “One life. Six words. What’s yours?”

Known as Six-Word Memoirs, the exercise is a creative way to get at the essence of what is important. More than 1.5 million people have shared their brief life stories on SixWordMemoirs.com. The teens and their buddies at SGLC had a great time collaborating on their stories.

Better Together is a program of the Board of Jewish Education of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. It connects SGLC residents with Jewish teens from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies, with programs centering around Jewish values.
