Richard Gober presents the 2022 North Beach Ventnor scholarship to Stockton-bound student, Jeff Dao.

VENTNOR – The North Beach Ventnor Residents Association is offering high school seniors who live in the North Beach neighborhood the opportunity to apply for a college scholarship.

Each year, the association offers a qualified applicant a two-year scholarship totaling $2,000. The student will receive $1,000 a year for two years.

The scholarship will be awarded at the association’s annual Meet and Greet being held June 10 at 5000 Boardwalk condominium.

Last year’s recipient was resident Jeff Dao, a Stockton University criminal justice major.

The scholarship is limited to a student who wants to attend Stockton University, Atlantic Cape Community College or Atlantic County Institute of Technology Adult Program.

Students must live in the North Beach section of the city, which is located between Jackson and Surrey avenues from the beach to the bay.

Applications, which include a 100-200-word essay, must be submitted by the deadline on May 15.

The application is available on the organization’s website, www.northbeachventnor.com.

Questions may be directed to Stacey Jaskol at northbeachventnor@gmail.com.
