Due to recent changes to COVID-19 vaccine authorization and the end of the flu vaccination season, the Atlantic County Division of Public Health has implemented changes for its vaccination clinics. Flu vaccines will be available through May 18 while COVID-19 vaccines will be available until further notice at monthly clinics.

“While the number of daily lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases has dropped to single digits, the COVID-19 virus may continue to circulate,” Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson stated in a release. “For that reason, we will continue to provide COVID-19 Pfizer and Moderna bivalent vaccines but on a modified schedule.”

COVID-19 vaccinations are available without an appoint 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, May 9, and on the first Tuesday of the month as of June 6 at 201 S. Shore Road in Northfield. Vaccinations are also available without an appointment 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 16, and by appointment only on the third Tuesday of the month as of June 20, 310 Bellevue Ave. in Hammonton Appointments for the Hammonton location can be made by calling 609-645-5933.

Pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 6 months to 18 years are available at both locations by appointment only. Call 609-645-5933 to schedule.

Levinson also noted that as of May, the county has also modified its online reporting of cases and deaths to once a week. Weekly reports will be posted on the county website at https://www.atlantic-county.org/covid/daily-counts.asp
