The Singing Lifeguard Jim Craine.

ATLANTIC CITY – The Schultz-Hill Foundation invites the community to a free Summer Evening Concert 7 p.m. Friday, July 14. The concert features “The Singing Lifeguard” Jim Craine and the Atlantic City All Star Band, and takes place at Brighton Park, 1801 Boardwalk.

Craine is an Atlantic City icon, a singer, comedian, impressionist and music shop owner. His 25 years with the Atlantic City Beach Patrol earned him the “Singing Lifeguard” nickname. Born and raised in Atlantic City, Craine got his start in show business working behind the scenes at Steel Pier, where he got to meet stars such as Duke Ellington and Michael Jackson. His band of All Stars has been entertaining crowds for nearly 50 years.

The summer concert will feature a selection of oldies, standards, swing and jazz music, as well as nostalgic stories. The audience will also enjoy light snacks and giveaways. Tickets are free but reservations are requested, as space is limited.

RSVP to info@1616pr.com or call 609-348-1903. For additional information, see www.schultz-hill.org.
